Clifton Community Library Community Report 2024
A HUGE THANKS to everyone who visited the Library in 2024! As well as all of the groups we had the chance to work with in 2024! A HUGE thanks to Town of Clifton, the Town Board of Clifton, the Cranberry Lake Boat Club, The Friends of the Library, the Cranberry Lake Fire Department, The Cranberry Lake North Shore Hub, and the Cranberry Lake Board of Trustees! You made 2024 Awesome!
2024 Highlights
- We Participated in Winter Whiteout Weekend 20024 giving away books, grab and go kits, and care kits
- We partnered with the Citizens Preparedness Corps to provide general response training for disasters.
- Partnered with The North Shore Hub to host Library Programs
- Received a Grant from The Damoth Fund and Adirondack Foundation to purchase Pre-Loaded Launchpad tablets for adults and children that can be checked out.
- The Little Free Library at the Cranberry Lake Campground had 69 people sign in and a minimum of 42 books donated from the library
- Collected and donated needed items for the Students at Clifton-Fine Central School
